Were looking for a Junior Data Scientist to focus on answering meaningful research questions and building tools that deliver impact across the organisation. The role sits within the Data team allowing you to benefit from a broad range of expertise while also working closely with commercial stakeholders. This alignment ensures you can deliver high-impact analysis grounded in a strong understanding of real business challenges.

Key responsibilities & opportunities

• Build models and machine learning algorithms taking ideas from initial concept through to deployment in our live production environment.
• Analyse data to uncover trends and patterns presenting insights in a clear and commercially impactful way.
• Design and develop data models and ETL pipelines to support machine learning initiatives.
• Act as a key point of contact for data-related queries becoming a trusted expert across the organisation.
• Monitor and maintain production models ensuring they are optimised reliable and proactively improved.
• Shape your own path to impact working autonomously with support from a team of smart curious colleagues to define and deliver meaningful work.
• Grow as a Data Scientist gaining exposure to a wide range of problems collaborating across teams and continuously developing your skillset.

Essential skills:

• A degree in a STEM subject ideally at Masters level
• Experience with SQL and Python
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their practical application
• Experience in cleaning structuring analysing and visualising data from multiple sources
• Experience developing cloud-based machine learning solutions
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub
• Ability to communicate complex data science concepts to non-technical audiences building credibility and trust while influencing stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Bonus skills:

• Experience delivering data science projects end-to-end in a commercial environment
• Experience with recommender systems
• Familiarity with the e-gaming industry (sports betting casino etc.)
