Job Summary
The Manager of Cage and Caesars Rewards operations is responsible for maintaining proper departmental procedures expenditures and day-to-day departmental operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct subordinate Casino Cage/CR staff to include: selection training discipline employee evaluation performances scheduling and counseling.
- Oversees the daily operation of the Cage/CR Department at one or multiple properties
- Lead organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Demonstrates superior customer service skills and reinforces our Customer Satisfaction objectives through training coaching and guest interactions.
- Responsible for creating and implementing new ways to increase Caesars Rewards enrollments e-mail Caesars Rewards Visa credit card play by Caesars Rewards app acquisitions and retention percentages and awareness of CR leisure spending Gift Cards and other CR alliances.
- Is knowledgeable and can facilitate all employee assigned banks and areas.
- Establishes and maintains policies for the physical safeguards over all monies forms and records relating to Cage/CR cashiering
- Report all suspicious persons activities or hazardous conditions to Supervisor Security or Safety personnel.
- Identify compliance risks to eliminate or minimize risks.
- Champion within the organization a commitment to honesty integrity and responsible behavior.
- Create a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct.
- Formulate direct and participate in the development and implementation of goals and objectives for the department.
- Maintain or reduce expenditures to increase cash flow into the casino.
- Investigate equipment services or practices to increase operational efficiency.
- Respond to guest complaints or problems and ensure corrective action is taken to prevent reoccurrence in the future.
- Plan and formulate the departmental expenses and budget.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum of 1-2 years manager experience preferred; Previous Cage Management Experience preferably in the Casino Industry
- Knowledgeable of AML/T31 policies
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management in a clear friendly and confident manner.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Strong interpersonal leadership and persuasion skills with the ability to communicate across all levels as needed.
- Capacity to work independently with minimal direction self-motivated multi-task and time management and dependable.
- Excellent customer service skills a must.
- Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification specifically a Nevada Gaming license
