Position - IT Systems Administrator

Experience Required:
Experience as a Systems Administrator supporting Windows Server on premise and 365 cloud environments (2019 and above) within virtualised infrastructures.
In depth knowledge and experience of managing Active Directory environments (both on-premises and Azure) including DNS DHCP and Group Policy.
Strong proficiency in administering Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online Intune SharePoint and related applications.
Experience with SQL servers (2019 and newer)
Experience with legal industry software such as iManage BigHand and Elite 3E an Advantage
Exposure to Application Delivery Controllers or load balancing technologies
Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
Experience working with cyber security tools and technologies including patch management antivirus solutions and firewalls.
Extensive hands-on experience configuring managing and troubleshooting Cisco switches and routers in complex enterprise environments
Expertise in configuring and supporting VPN technologies (IPSec SSL VPNs remote access solutions)
Hands-on experience deploying and managing Meraki wireless solutions
Familiarity with AV over IP video conferencing solutions (e.g. Teams/Zoom Rooms) and hardware troubleshooting
Role Responsibilities:
Systems Administration
Perform day-to-day administration of IT systems including servers workstations and network infrastructure.
Review daily system health checks proactively identify issues and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve them.
Work closely with managed service providers to ensure optimal availability and performance of systems and critical services.
Support the deployment of Windows operating systems applications and updates using Microsoft tools such as Autopilot SCCM and Intune.
Microsoft 365 Administration
Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online Teams SharePoint and OneDrive.
Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and carry out routine maintenance.
Ensure compliance with industry standards best practices and internal policies.
Security Administration
Install and configure security tools ensuring systems remain compliant with organisational standards.
Review security reports and implement recommended actions where necessary.
Conduct regular technical and physical security audits.
Escalate and coordinate changes to security configurations including firewall updates as required.
Additional Responsibilities
Act as an escalation point for Level 1 & 2 Service Desk and wider IT team queries.
Effectively prioritise and manage workloads to ensure timely completion of tasks.
