Our client a dynamic organization is seeking a motivated and highly organized individual to join their team as a Counter Sales Representative.
Salary and Benefits:
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage direct customer transactions including accurately processing quotations sales orders and invoices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Maintain current and detailed knowledge of all product offerings and features.
- Ensure all sales documentation (quotes orders invoices) is accurate including correct application of pricing and discounts.
- Update and maintain customer account records within the system.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels particularly for key accounts (e.g. consignment stock) to ensure availability and prevent overstocking.
- Manage and maintain the presentation of the sales showroom or area.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a sales counter sales or sales administration environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous approach to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines reliably.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative and positive team player.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors Degree Diploma or Certificate in Marketing Sales Management Business Studies or related qualification.
- Proficiency with accounting or inventory management software (e.g. Pastel Sage Evolution).
- Strong practical experience with MS Office including advanced functions in Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP).
