GCP Solutions Data Architect Hybrid

Job Title: GCP Solutions / Data Architect (Hands-on)
Location: Lowell Arkansas (Hybrid Onsite)

We are seeking a highly experienced GCP Solutions / Data Architect with strong hands-on coding expertise and deep experience building modern data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a highly technical role requiring architecture leadership plus hands-on delivery in BigQuery data pipelines data lakes and cloud-native analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 15 years of overall IT experience with 10 years in Data Engineering Cloud Analytics and modern data architecture.

• Design build and scale enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Lakes on GCP
• Develop hands-on data pipelines ingestion frameworks and transformation workflows on GCP
• Architect and implement scalable solutions using BigQuery (must-have)
• Build semantic data models and optimized reporting layers using BigQuery
• Lead migration initiatives including On-Prem to Cloud and Cloud to Cloud transformations
• Implement modern data architecture patterns including Data Mesh and Data Products
• Design secure scalable and maintainable cloud-native platforms
• Build event-driven and streaming architectures for enterprise analytics
• Support AI / ML use cases using GCP tools such as Vertex AI (nice to have)
• Collaborate with business engineering and leadership teams on enterprise data strategy
• Drive best practices for Agile delivery CI/CD DevOps governance and automation
• Provide architecture leadership across end-to-end data engineering and analytics programs

• 15 years of overall IT experience
• 10 years of experience in Data Engineering / Cloud / Analytics roles
• Strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Deep experience with Google BigQuery (mandatory)
• Strong experience in data architecture dimensional modeling and semantic modeling
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Cloud Composer
  • Dataflow
  • Cloud Storage
  • Dataproc
  • GCP IaaS / Serverless Services
• Strong experience building ETL / ELT pipelines and large-scale data platforms
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java
• Experience in CI/CD DevOps and Agile delivery models
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Vertex AI / AI / ML implementation experience
• Agentic AI / GenAI exposure
• Data Governance / Data Management expertise
• Event Streaming architectures
• Retail / Enterprise domain experience

• Candidates local to Lowell Arkansas or open to hybrid onsite model
