Full-time Senior Research Assistant (holding the functional title of Speech Language Pathologist) in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 535067)
Applications are invited for the captioned post. The successful candidate will be involved in a specific research project related to swallowing management in older adults.
Applicants should:
- hold a bachelors or masters degree in science in speech-language pathology
- be a qualified Speech Language Pathologist in Hong Kong
- preferably have experience in the elderly clinical setting
- work independently in a multidisciplinary team and with external parties including social service groups
- be responsible organized self-motivated hardworking and able to multi-tasking
- be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese preferred)
- possess good interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duty:
- Deliver clinical components of a research project related to swallowing including data collection and collation preparing reports and database management
- Conduct assessments and treatments in Residential Care Homes for the Elderly
- Organize project events
- Perform other duties as assigned
The appointment will commence as soon as possible and end on 31 August 2027 with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
