Job Summary

Job Title: DGM / GM – Production (Second Line to Production Head)
Location: South India
Industry: Pharma (Formulations – Tablets)

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Production leader to act as the second line to the Production Head responsible for managing large-scale tablet manufacturing operations with a monthly capacity of 400 million tablets. The role involves leading a sizable workforce ensuring regulatory compliance and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end tablet production operations to meet volume quality and timeline targets
Act as a key support to the Production Head in strategic and operational decision-making
Manage and lead a team of 300 employees including shift managers and supervisors
Ensure strict adherence to cGMP SOPs and data integrity standards
Drive productivity improvements cost optimization and process efficiency
Handle deviation investigations CAPA implementation and change control
Coordinate with QA QC Engineering and Supply Chain for smooth operations
Prepare for and manage regulatory audits especially USFDA inspections
