Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance calibration and repair of medical imaging equipment such as MRI CT and Ultrasound machines.
  • Document service performed in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal protocols.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to assess equipment performance and reliability.
  • Provide troubleshooting support and technical assistance for medical imaging systems.
  • Assist in developing and implementing equipment management programs.
  • Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices in biomedical engineering.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.


Requirements
  • Associates degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with medical imaging equipment.
  • Strong understanding of medical imaging technologies including MRI CT and Ultrasound.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements (e.g. FDA ISO).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to successfully clear a Tier-1 (Public Trust) background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A valid biomedical equipment technician certification (e.g. CBET).

Travel Requirements

Travel to client locations isrequiredfor this position and may vary based on project needs.
