Whats the role
As an Executive Assistant within the Chief Investment Office and Group Treasury youll provide high-level support to two senior leaders responsible for balance sheet funding and risk management across the Westpac Group. Youll play a key role in keeping leaders organised informed and focused in a fastpaced highly regulated environment.
Your day-to-day will include managing complex diaries coordinating meetings across multiple time zones booking international travel preparing materials and acting as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders including offshore teams in London Europe New York Singapore and China. With discretion initiative and strong judgement youll anticipate needs manage competing priorities and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
This is a 12-month parental leave cover role based in Sydney with three to four days in the office to connect with the wider team. Youll also be part of a collaborative network of EAs sharing knowledge supporting each other and driving excellence together.

Heres what will help you succeed:
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive support role maintaining strict confidentiality ideally within a corporate or financial services environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel) and confidence navigating internal systems.
- A proactive solutions-focused mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
