Architect, IT Solutions (JDE CNC)

Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its global technology capabilities with the launch of a new IT Innovation Hub in Pune India. The Hub strengthens the technology foundation that supports our business worldwide working in close partnership with teams across regions to deliver reliable high-quality solutions at scale. Designed as a long-term investment the Pune Hub will advance newer digital capabilities such as automation data AI and cloud and will include roles spanning end user services application development and enterprise platform teams. Together these teams will help Edwards operate more efficiently and accelerate innovation in support of our mission of advancing patient care.

The global role is responsible for design configuration and support of the JD Edwards 9.2. Environment. The resource will be part of a global team and will be expected to work a flexible schedule to be determined based on all team members primary work time would be 3pm 12am IST but periodic participation in week-end maintenance would be expected. The resource will be working under the guidance of the EA Architecture Team.

How youll make an impact:

• Lead support and troubleshooting of issues/incidents. Resolve problems by performing root cause analysis and developing and lead the implementation of corrective and preventative actions
• Lead security vulnerability remediation of JDE system components
• Execute maintenance and upgrades of JDE system
• Execute RASP initiatives (reliability availability scalability and performance) for JDE system
• Participate in infrastructure and/or systems evaluation testing/proof of concepts for JDE system
• Participate in the design and build of JDE system
• Author device network and/or systems diagrams including configuration parameters related to JDE system design and configuration
• Provide training coaching and knowledge transfer to junior team members
• Provide support for UDO and AIS AIS load balancing

What youll need (Required):

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
• 8 to 10years of IT experience including 6 years of JDE CNC experience in 9.2 (WebLogic Windows Servers SQL Server)
• 10 years of demonstrably solid performance in an engineering role working with cross-functional teams
• Experience working in high dense Virtualized environments and database farms
• Experience in FDA and Sox regulated environments
• Experience in an enterprise environment with SOP and Change Management
• Level 3 trouble shooting and analysis experience

What else we look for (Preferred):

• Advanced administrative knowledge of JDE 9.2 Apps and Tools
• Advanced knowledge in creating environments adding Enterprise/WebLogic servers in applying ESUs and ASUs in creating planners and applying planner ESUs in upgrading deployment server local database
• Strong knowledge in server manager and configuration of SSL
• Strong experience with emerging/additional JDE technologies such as E1 9.2 latest features link Orchestration UXone Cafe1 Watchlist Notifications and Mobile apps AIS Business Services (BSSV) and ADF
• Configuration installation & upgrade experience with WebLogic 14c servers
• Configure SSL on WebLogic
• Configure TLS on enterprise server as well as on WebLogic/Server Manager
• High level understanding on remediating security vulnerabilities around WebLogic and Databases (WebLogic & Database security patching)
• Strong experience in Tenable security vulnerability software
• Strong understanding of Dynatrace and issue tracking validation
• Thorough knowledge on Call Object kernels security kernels
• Strong analytical skills in understanding the issues with kernel/process dumps
• Clear understanding of IPC communication on Enterprise server
• Understanding of WebLogic garbage collection and tuning
• Understanding of time zone parameters and GC parameters
• Strong knowledge around integrations such as Vertex DMAConnectors & Tibco connectors
• Experience working with Jdeveloper and buil in WebLogic
• Experience with Everest USM software for managing JDE user management
• Experience with SOD validation and SOX compliances
• Manage backup recovery and disaster recovery plans for entire JDE infrastructure
• Hands on experience administering JD Edwards Security
• Hands on experience with UDO security
• Experience in working with Auditors to support on JDE databases / applications
• Understanding and general skills in the structured query language (SQL)
• Administration experience with relational databases (SQL Server & Oracle)
• Strong knowledge JDE scheduler
• Strong knowledge on setting up and managing OpCon scheduler
• Understanding of JDE UPK software
• Strong experience in setting up and managing OneView reporting
• Strong knowledge in integrated BI software and understanding on RD templates/printing
• Clear professional communication skills written and verbal
• Independent research and analysis skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Experience working with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory / AD Group Policies Microsoft File systems permissions and security.
• Understanding of Microsoft related server storage network and desktop technologies.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP and general networking protocols ODBC FTP SMTP etc.
• Ability to lead technology projects and major enhancements to JDE platform and to mentor junior team members
