Location: Fort Myers FL
Job Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 10-Hour Day Shifts
• Schedule: 4 Days per Week
• On-Call: Required
• Block Scheduling: Not Available
• Floating: Required (may float to other units/campuses)

Job Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced surgical team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiovascular operating room procedures and be comfortable working in a dynamic team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures as a scrub and circulating nurse
• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating environment
• Monitor patients during surgery and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and surgical team members
• Handle surgical instruments and equipment specific to CVOR procedures
• Document patient care accurately using EMR systems
• Float to other units as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
• Scrub and Circulate experience (Mandatory)
• Experience working specifically in a Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Experience with EPIC EMR

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced high-acuity environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
