Procurement Specialist
Job Summary
Become an integral member of the Procurement Team!
In this role you will be responsible for communicating with external suppliers both in Australia and overseas and be responsible for the management of Procurement and BTD processes which are both primary drivers of revenue growth for the Signet business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cost of Goods Sold (COGS): Drive cost optimisation by managing product spend negotiating commercial terms assessing market opportunities and sourcing alternative suppliers aligned to strategic objectives.
- Vendor Management: Build manage and evaluate supplier relationships to ensure strong performance contract compliance risk mitigation and continuous COGS improvement.
- Product and Market Range: Manage assigned categories endtoend through market analysis pricing sourcing inventory optimisation and collaboration with product and commercial teams to support growth.
- Reporting and Analytics: Deliver datadriven insights and reporting using Excel and Power BI to support procurement decisions process automation and stakeholder requirements.
- Customer Tenders: Support customer tenders by coordinating requirements supplier sourcing specifications pricing and implementation with sales and supply partners.
- Continuous Improvement Quality and Reporting: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives maintain procurement data integrity and support quality systems and regulatory compliance.
About You:
- 2 or more years experience in a procurement purchasing or supply role
- Experience in a FMCG distribution retail or wholesale type industry preferred
- A demonstrated ability to multi-task with strong time management skills to set and meet deadlines
- Have a sound knowledge of procurement and inventory control principle and practices
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite with skills in an ERP system
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of people
