Compensation:

  • Starting base salary for this position is: $86000 per year
  • Pay is based on job-related experience
  • This position is eligible for department specific incentives.

Schedule:

  • Monday Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • This position is subject to demands outside of scheduled hours

Location:

  • This position is remote and does not require you to be in office.

Essential Functions:

  • Territory Ownership & Growth Strategy: Maintain full accountability for territory performance by developing and executing a localized growth strategy aligned to JBs Food Service Distribution objectives. Establish priorities across distributor partners customer segments and product applications with a clear focus on diversifying the customer base and reducing over-reliance on any single distributor segment or concentration.
  • Distributor-Led Business Development: Drive new end-user conversions through active engagement with assigned food service distributors including 1st-tier 2nd-tier and independent partners. Collaborate with distributor area managers district sales managers and COP specialists to identify targets set call objectives and execute joint growth plans that result in incremental volume and profitable expansion
  • JB Broker Alignment & Field Execution: Strategically partner with JBs broker network to align opportunity prioritization and field activity with territory growth objectives. Coordinate execution plans target customers and product priorities to maximize distributor leverage and conversion effectiveness.
  • Operator Engagement & Product Demonstrations: Conduct live in-restaurant product demonstrations cuttings and presentations to showcase JB products menu applications and operational capabilities. Engage operators in consultative discussions to drive trial menu placement and conversion through distribution.
  • Food Shows & Promotional Events: Represent JB at distributor shows food shows and industry events within the assigned geography. Generate qualified leads and translate exposure into future pipeline and conversions.
  • Pipeline Management & Discipline: Maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities with defined stages next actions and expected timing. Document activity and outcomes review progress regularly with the Business Development Manager and adjust focus to ensure alignment with territory goals and annual growth objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organization planning and analysis skills.
  • Effective negotiation and closing techniques.
  • Creates a good first impression and demonstrates confidence.
  • Experience in high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task while learning new information about our customers and our industries.
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook required.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to make decisions regarding pricing to company standards what products to sub and sell which calls take priority upselling and overall problem solving on behalf of the customer.

Physical and Environmental Factors:

  • Safety Awareness -Follow all safety laws policies and procedures. Immediately report safety concerns to supervisor. Attend and successfully complete when applicable all required safety training.
  • Quality Awareness - Comply with the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and Food Safety and Quality Food Programs (SQF).
