Job Summary
Our National Conversation is building a non-partisan solution platform for American policy issues.
Were looking for 3-4 skilled on-air debaters to join our monthly political podcast presenting well-researched persuasive arguments on political issues. Youll participate in structured debates via zoom that will be subsequently edited and posted onto our social media platforms. There may be prior collaboration with the production team on prep and fact-checking. This is a recurring role (monthly) requiring reliable availability commitment to show guidelines and support of the nonprofits mission. Depending on ideas availability and success we may hold multiple debates each month.
This position is remote with work primarily conducted over Zoom and Slack so applicants must be comfortable coordinating in a remote environment and are expected to maintain a high level of communication. The duration of these duties is preferred to be at least six (6) months.
Compensation: This is not a paid position.

Qualifications :
- Prior podcasting or broadcast experience (hosting co-hosting producing).
- Strong on-air presence and ability to engage listeners (charisma storytelling).
- Journalism political science law public policy or related academic/professional background.
- Experience moderating or adjudicating debates.
- Proficienct use of the English language (reading writing speaking)
- Social media presence or ability to help promote episodes.
