Role overview:

As Head of Engineering you lead the development engine behind Bluestone PIM - an AI-native composable platform. You are responsible for day-to-day software delivery in Gdańsk and Bangkok translating product and architectural vision into high-quality releases.

You work closely with the Engineering and Product teams to drive sprint execution maintain the technology stack and ensure engineering and UI/UX teams are aligned and productive. Your goal is to maximize engineerings impact on product value and competitive advantage.

Daily challenges:

• Lead our engineering teams with a primary focus on our Poland-based operations while providing strategic oversight for our QA team located predominantly in Thailand.
• Driving our AI and agentic PIM vision forward - this is where our future lies and you will play a central role in making sure the engineering organization is set up to deliver on it.
• Co-own and evolve the technology stack and define testing and quality assurance processes across all releases.
• Guide team leads and developers on technical and architectural questions ensuring roadmap and tech stack alignment.
• Drive improvements to development processes monitoring security and overall engineering standards.
• Support and develop engineering team leads through regular feedback sessions competence planning and input on hiring and promotions.
• Manage resource planning and allocation across teams.
• Stay up to date with the PIM market and competitors and propose improvements to UX features and API structure.

What makes you a great fit:

• A degree in a technical field or proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Head of Engineering leading multiple teams in a SaaS product company.
• Strong technical background in modern software engineering; able to make credible decisions on architecture tech stack and code quality without being hands-on daily.
• Solid track record running agile delivery: backlog refinement sprint cadence release quality and continuous improvement of development processes.
• Experience guiding and developing team leads: giving direct feedback setting clear expectations and growing people over time.
• Ability to contribute meaningfully to hiring decisions competence planning and salary reviews.
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines cloud-native infrastructure and API-first microservices architecture.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work across cultures in a Nordic-rooted international organization.
• Experience with some of the following is considered a big plus: PIM or data management platforms MACH architecture AI/ML integration in SaaS products agentic AI systems microservices-based ecosystems AWS or similar cloud platforms and experience hiring and growing engineering teams in Poland.
