Job Summary
Nelspruit area Mpumalanga: The successful candidate will be responsible to carry out routine daily and weekly farm tasks that support livestock care monitoring and general upkeep with minimal physical strain but high consistency and attention to detail.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Agricultural diploma / degree advantageous
- Farming background essential
- Previous experience with livestock farming
- Computer literate
- Being maintenance and mechanically minded
- Passion to learn
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
- Valid drivers license
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Conduct daily cattle checks first thing in the morning
- Report injuries sickness or abnormal behaviours immediately
- Assist with scheduled dipping (weekly Thursdays)
- Follow feeding schedules as per management instructions
