What you will be doing:

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor providing a positive first impression of the restaurant
• Manage the reservation system taking guest bookings and accurately recording details
• Seat guests promptly and appropriately considering special requests and preferences
• Communicate with guests regarding wait times menu information and restaurant promotions
• Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station ensuring menus and promotional materials are up to date
• Collaborate with the bar team to ensure smooth seating and efficient table turnover
• Address guest inquiries concerns and complaints professionally and promptly escalating issues when necessary
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies
• Maintaining knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
• Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA
• Food Handlers Card and MAST permit required

Physical requirements include: 

This job requires constant standing walking bending and twisting.  Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
