Job Summary
This role is an opportunity to join our growing Europe & India Regional Procurement team at an exciting time as we prepare to expand in to project procurement.
The team is responsible for supporting the Global Business Lines in region to design robust procurement processes and to implement them through our Coupa Source to Pay platform.
This vacancy is to support our teams in Europe but youll have longer term opportunities to grow within a team thats connecting our whole Europe and India business and which works integrally with our global procurement function. Youll be reporting to the Business Line Procurement Manager and working alongside Procurement Assistants who already support the team.
As a member of our Regional Procurement team youll be responsible for:
- Supporting the teams to follow our procurement processes to ensure that were buying ethically and efficiently whilst respecting clients needs and timescales.
- Category management for indirect procurement including IT peripherals and office supplies
- Youll learn how we develop sourcing strategies and select and vet suppliers and youll go on to implement that learning day to day with the teams.
- After training youll start to support the teams in contracting suppliers directly on projects
- Youll also be responsible for engaging our supply chain and for working with them to deliver our commitment to leaving a Sustainable Legacy and to being a Net Zero business by 2040.
Qualifications :
Were looking for candidates with strong communication skills who can educate and influence others and who can lead discussions and resolve problems or conflict. Youll also need to have the right work ethic with a commitment to customer satisfaction an eye for detail as you work through the commercial and legal offers from suppliers and the ability to see the bigger picture of how procurement can help deliver our strategic business priorities.
Additional Information :
Youll be working with a team based out the East Midlands and your role will initially be based mainly from home working in the office 1-2 days a week. Youll also need to be able to travel from time to time to meet the team.
