Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller tooversee all financial aspects of our organization lead our accounting teamand provide strategic financial guidance to support our continued growth andsuccess.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee daily cash management and financial transactions Generate monthly financial reports and conduct detailed analysis Reviewmonthly financial statements and operating statistics Reconcile balance sheetaccounts and ensure accuracy Prepare financial forecasts and annual budgeting Manage cash flow forecasting and performance analysis
Controls & Compliance
Establish and maintain robust internal controls andprocesses Manage monthly schedule reconciliations and internal audits acrossthe group Ensure timely and accurate government remittances (HST payrolltaxes WSIB etc.) Coordinate with external accountants for year-endpreparations Oversee audit processes and ensure regulatory compliance
Leadership & Operations
Lead and mentor accounting department team (3-8 employees) Manage weekly payroll processing Provide financial support and guidance toon-site managers Deliver costing and financial advisory services tomanufacturing and sales departments Support HR administration functions
Strategic Support
Assist with month-end billing processes and transactionreviews Complete special project financial analysis as required Supportbusiness development with financial modeling and analysis Handle additionaladministrative and accounting duties as needed
Required Qualifications
CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
Minimum 7-10 years of progressive financial managementexperience
5 years in a senior financial leadership role (CFOFinance Director Controller)
Experience with multi-entity organizations preferred
Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards(ASPE/IFRS)
Proficiency in ERP systems advanced Excel and financialsoftware
Experience with payroll systems and government remittances
