FLSA Status: Exempt Position Status: Full Time

Position purpose
The Casino Host is responsible to successfully acquire and retain casino guests by providing superior guest service both inside and outside the venue along with the effective use of complimentary services.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Acts as a resource to casino guests and employees by maintaining a working knowledge of the facility and special events.
- Greets guests on casino floor establishing rapport with them and providing complimentary amenities based upon specific casino guidelines for levels of play.
- Promotes the use of the Players Club card by explaining the member benefits issuing cards and demonstrating card usage.
- Records information on new customers and update computer information as necessary.
- Extends complimentary services to our guests within the guidelines responsible for identifying developing and retaining casino guests with a strong emphasis on new customer development and customer service.
- Recruit new high-level players through a variety of direct sales activities such as direct mail telemarketing referrals guest visitation and offsite functions.
- Processes customer requests for hotel event or restaurant reservations.
- Represents Buffalo Run Casino in its public relations and marketing efforts generating new and repeat business and helping to reaffirm the goals and objectives of the company.
- Coordinates with Pit personnel to introduce new high-level Table Games players while attending to their special requests and needs in accordance with established Casino policies and procedures.
- Develops and sustains working relationships with all guests particularly high-end players
- Participate as a team member with fellow employees in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of customer service.
- Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed casino internal control policies and practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Respect and protect the confidential and privileged information of my employer beyond the term of my employment.
- Obtain and maintain gaming license. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18. Prior customer service experience preferred. Prior data entry experience preferred.
Special Position Requirements:
Requires computer skills. Requires Gaming License
Work Requirements
Requires strong problem solving skills interpersonal skills conflict resolution skills excellent communication skills and computer skills. Position involves prolonged sitting standing or walking stooping or bending lifting or carrying up to 30 pounds on a daily basis. Work is performed in an office or casino environment with varying levels of lighting air quality noise and / or temperature.
