Manager Analytics & Project Management

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead the development and scaling of advanced analytics capabilities to enable precise customercentric multichannel engagement across global markets driving the identification integration and activation of diverse data sources to deliver the right customer through the right channel with the right message content and timing. Partner closely with global and regional stakeholders to embed datadriven decisionmaking into commercial strategies ensuring strong alignment with business priorities and customer needs. Continuously shape and evolve analytical frameworks data models and measurement approaches to optimize customer engagement effectiveness and business impact while ensuring consistency quality and robust governance of data and analytics solutions across markets balanced with the flexibility required for local adaptation.


Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Commercial Marketing Field Excellence and Digital teams to translate business questions into analytical use cases focused on customer targeting segmentation and personalization.
Support the design development and deployment of advanced analytical models (e.g. segmentation next-best-action channel optimization propensity modeling) to enhance customer engagement strategies.
Analyze customer journeys across channels to identify optimization opportunities and recommend actionable insights on timing messaging and content effectiveness.
Provide input for scalable data products dashboards and reporting tools that provide clear visibility into omnichannel performance and customer behavior.
Partner with Technology and Data Engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines high-quality data integration and efficient data accessibility.
Support experimentation and test-and-learn frameworks (e.g. A/B testing uplift modeling) to continuously refine engagement strategies.
Act as an advisor to stakeholders by communicating insights in a clear compelling and business-relevant manner.
Stay at the forefront of industry trends including AI/ML and personalization and translate them into practical applications within the organization.

Authority:

Provide strategic input and guidance to the O-US data and reporting roadmap.
Select and oversee vendors supporting customer engagement and sales reporting capabilities.

Outputs:

Actionable insights and recommendations that improve customer targeting channel mix messaging and timing across the customer lifecycle.
Scalable analytical models and tools that enable data-driven personalization and next-best-action capabilities.
Improved customer engagement effectiveness measured through increased conversion adoption and customer experience metrics.
A robust experimentation framework that drives continuous optimization and learning.
Strong alignment between data analytics and business strategy resulting in measurable commercial impact.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
A visionary leader able to define what could be in data strategy and business enablement while maintaining deep knowledge of what is across Amgens systems and processes. Demonstrates strong judgment in making difficult trade-offs selecting and advocating for the right solutions and guiding senior OutsideUS leadership through complex decisions. Highly comfortable in analytical and technical environments with solid understanding of customer engagement platforms data management tracking reporting and ROIdriven analytics and able to partner effectively with IT commercial and medical stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Academic education or experience from similar positions
  • >5 years experience in industry; Deep understanding and experience in pharma sales & marketing preferably at Amgen
  • >3 years operational experience in implementing integrated multichannel cross-functional approaches (integrated at customer level planning execution tracking and analysis level)
  • Documented transversal and transformational project management track record of success
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills to be able to drive very clear choices and priorities for the multichannel approach including investment levels and trade offs versus current way of working
  • Fluency in English both oral and written communications.
  • Pharmaceutical marketing experience
  • Computer skills (MS Office programs)
  • Tableau advanced developer skills
  • Database query skills (e.g. SQL)

Preferred Requirements:

  • >8 years experience in a leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology company;
  • Experience in an affiliate SME leadership role strongly preferred to ensure strong understanding of Amgen current commercial systems and processes
  • >5 years experience in project management & outsourcing
  • Significant experience in working within demanding matrix environment (including regional/global partnership with Technology/Finance/HR/Sourcing)
