Location: Lincolnshire Area - Hybrid Working 1-3 days in office weekly

Anglian Water offers flexible hybrid working this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office ideally working from the office an average of two days per week. Your base location will ideally be in or around Lincoln but other head offices include Peterborough or Huntingdon for an ideal candidate living that area.

We are looking for proactive self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Telemetry Configuration team on a permanent basis.

Our goal is to exceed customer expectations whilst embracing new technology to drive digital transformation; better connecting our customers people assets and information.

This is a learn-as-you-go opportunity as we work within a niche industry with systems which have been constructed to meet the specific needs of a large and demanding water network and everything in-between. You will be keen to learn with an appetite to absorb information efficiently and effectively under the mentorship of our Senior Engineers and technical experts.

We need you to bring a dynamic and forward-thinking approach with first-class interpersonal analytical and communication skills which will enable you to swiftly become an asset to our team as well as the Anglian Water Business.

More about our team and what we will need from you

Our telemetry system is one of the largest in the utilities sector providing 24/7 365 monitoring and control to 1000s of our operational sites across the Anglian Water region

Our team provides real time telemetry configuration and support services to internal operational and fellowOT teams. Your desirable expertise inClearSCADAand RTU configuration will ensure assets are set-up to measure asset performance to a safe andconsistent standard. Youwill be responsible for the delivery of configuration work to pre-approved designs with any deviationsescalated to the Senior Engineer.

An ideal background is someone in/around the world of Automation/IT Infrastructure/Systems/Software. Our OT Department is undergoing role and structural change and its likely this will offer more learning and development opportunities and job variety for a successful candidate in the coming months.

As part of our Operational Technology team your role will be varied but will include being:

  • Delivery of telemetry configuration services for capital partners.

  • Utilise the sequence and process control software library using systems as required and updating usersaccordingly.

  • Cross reference training and knowledge of the AMF (Asset Monitoring Frameworks) and other telemetrystandards against current asset configuration.

  • Ensure telemetry installations are implemented to defined standards () owning remedial actionwhereappropriate.

  • Comply with Quality Assurance procedures and work instructions within own section and work with othersto improve overallquality.

  • Comply with rigorous change controlmechanisms.
