Job Title: House Supervisor Patient Flow

Location: Great Falls MT

Type: Direct Hire / Permanent

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced House Supervisor Patient Flow to provide leadership and operational oversight within a hospital setting. This role is responsible for managing patient flow supervising nursing staff and ensuring effective coordination of clinical and administrative activities during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to hospital staff on policies procedures and best practices
• Oversee patient flow bed management and resource allocation across units
• Supervise nursing staff and support teams ensuring efficient workflow and productivity
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to make administrative and patient care decisions
• Address and resolve patient and family concerns in a professional manner
• Work closely with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback
• Support safe and effective care delivery across all patient populations
• Participate in operational planning and special projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
• Recent ICU or critical care experience preferred
• Experience in patient flow charge nurse or leadership roles
• Hands-on experience with advanced medical equipment including:
  • IV pumps
  • A-lines and invasive lines
  • Chest tubes
  • Ventilator-supported patients
• Experience caring for patients across all age groups (infant to geriatric)

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Montana
• CPR certification required
• ACLS & PALS required (or must obtain within 6 months)

• Expertise in cardiac monitoring and post-operative care
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact effectively with staff at all organizational levels
• Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage high patient volumes and prioritize effectively
• Customer service-oriented with a team-focused mindset
