Job Title: House Supervisor Patient Flow
Location: Great Falls MT
Type: Direct Hire / Permanent
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced House Supervisor Patient Flow to provide leadership and operational oversight within a hospital setting. This role is responsible for managing patient flow supervising nursing staff and ensuring effective coordination of clinical and administrative activities during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to hospital staff on policies procedures and best practices
- Oversee patient flow bed management and resource allocation across units
- Supervise nursing staff and support teams ensuring efficient workflow and productivity
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to make administrative and patient care decisions
- Address and resolve patient and family concerns in a professional manner
- Work closely with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback
- Support safe and effective care delivery across all patient populations
- Participate in operational planning and special projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
- Recent ICU or critical care experience preferred
- Experience in patient flow charge nurse or leadership roles
- Hands-on experience with advanced medical equipment including:
- IV pumps
- A-lines and invasive lines
- Chest tubes
- Ventilator-supported patients
- Experience caring for patients across all age groups (infant to geriatric)
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Montana
- CPR certification required
- ACLS & PALS required (or must obtain within 6 months)
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of advanced nursing practices and patient care
- Expertise in cardiac monitoring and post-operative care
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact effectively with staff at all organizational levels
- Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage high patient volumes and prioritize effectively
- Customer service-oriented with a team-focused mindset
