We are seeking an experienced House Supervisor Patient Flow to provide leadership and operational oversight within a hospital setting. This role is responsible for managing patient flow supervising nursing staff and ensuring effective coordination of clinical and administrative activities during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and guidance to hospital staff on policies procedures and best practices
Oversee patient flow bed management and resource allocation across units
Supervise nursing staff and support teams ensuring efficient workflow and productivity
Collaborate with clinical leadership to make administrative and patient care decisions
Address and resolve patient and family concerns in a professional manner
Work closely with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams
Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback
Support safe and effective care delivery across all patient populations
Participate in operational planning and special projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
Recent ICU or critical care experience preferred
Experience in patient flow charge nurse or leadership roles
Hands-on experience with advanced medical equipment including:
IV pumps
A-lines and invasive lines
Chest tubes
Ventilator-supported patients
Experience caring for patients across all age groups (infant to geriatric)
Licensure & Certifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Montana
CPR certification required
ACLS & PALS required(or must obtain within 6 months)
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of advanced nursing practices and patient care
Expertise in cardiac monitoring and post-operative care
Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact effectively with staff at all organizational levels
Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making abilities
Ability to manage high patient volumes and prioritize effectively
Customer service-oriented with a team-focused mindset
