The School of Dentistry has an outstanding opportunity for an Advancement Services Officer to join their team.

About this Opportunity

Reporting to The Assistant Dean for Development the Advancement Services Officer is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of an engagement program that aligns with the university goals to engage maintain and promote lifelong relationships with the university. They will participate in the development and promotion of engagement opportunities that encourage support interaction and connection with the university. This role will provide assistance in the creation and execution of a plan for management of alumni donor and volunteer relationships as well as recognition of donors and organizations at all giving levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development and Management (90%)

    • Assists in the implementation of meaningful donor experiences that highlight the impact of giving to deepen donor engagement with the university.

    • Develop and ensure appropriate recognition and engagement of donors volunteers and staff through a leadership approved stewardship strategic plan.

    • Participates as a critical partner to fundraisers in the design recording and implementation of personalized stewardship plans for high level donors.

    • Assists in the design collection and management of stewardship related data to ensure fulfillment of stewardship obligations; document and track stewardship actions.

    • Provide information on a range of topics including personal giving recognition programs and best practices.

    • Assists units in the identification development and implementation of programs and events to acknowledge recognize and report impact to friends of the university.

    • Assist partners to coordinate the identification and capitalization of new stewardship opportunities to demonstrate the impact of philanthropy through online and physical collateral.

    • Create and develop reports project analysis graphics spreadsheets and other customized collateral.

  • Other duties as assigned (10%)

Required Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and two years of experience in advancement/development or related field.

  • Equivalent combination of comparable knowledge and skills may substitute for education and/or experience.

  • Applicants who do not meet these qualifications WILL NOT be forwarded to the Hiring Manager.

Working Conditions

  • Cubicle/Open workspace environment which may result in additional or higher levels of noise and visual distractions.

  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours as necessary on short or limited notice.

Compensation Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$60780.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$85572.00 annual
