Fleet Controller North Island

Job Description

Europcar New Zealand has an exciting opportunity for aFleet Controller North Island to join our team in afull time capacitybased inHead Office Auckland.

Reporting to the Operations Manager NZ this role is responsible for working closely with the management team to ensure maximum fleet utilisation across New Zealand in order to obtain high yield on vehicles.

Some of the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure all vehicles are maintained to a high standard

• Coordinate fleet movements to maximise utilisation and profitability

• Monitor enforce and devise processes to reduce undetected damage across New Zealand

• Coach and guide New Zealand fleet team (where applicable) to plan and manage fleet for their defined locations/areas including new car arrivals / defleets adding restrictions proposing freight movements monitoring maintenance and one way activity

• Manage the inter-island process and oversee daily reporting of vehicles to be defleeted in each Island

• Ensure all vehicle statistics are accurate and daily reporting is completed

• Effectively control transfer and relocations costs within agreed budgets

To be considered you should possess:

• Previous fleet experience or frontline operational experience

• Ability to work within budgets and propose cost effective ways of addressing issues

• Commercial awareness with a strong focus on achieving KPIs

• Ability to analyse and interpret company information / reports

• Excellent attention to detail

• Exceptional level of communication skills both verbal and written

• Open drivers licence
