Regional Manager South Island

Based in Christchurch you will lead and grow SGSs Regulatory business across the South Island. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive performance develop your team and ensure operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing high-performing team of Engineer Surveyors
• Driving a culture of safety teamwork and customer satisfaction
• Managing day-to-day operations including scheduling job delivery timesheets and invoicing
• Owning the P&L and improving business performance and efficiency
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the region
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• Experience within the engineering regulatory or Industrial services sector
• Proven leadership experience ideally managing technical teams
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Commercial acumen including understanding of financial performance (P&L)
• Sound knowledge of statutory regulatory and safety requirements
• A Mechanical Engineering degree (preferred)
• Relevant CBIP qualifications would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
