Job Title: Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Location: Sterling VA Job Type: Contract (7 Weeks)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM 3:45 PM (7.25 hours/day including break)
Job Overview: Looking for a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support students in a school setting. This role involves helping with daily care mobility and classroom activities to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal hygiene (toileting handwashing grooming)
Support student mobility and positioning
Help during meals including feeding if needed
Provide one-on-one classroom support
Follow care plans and staff instructions
Monitor and report student behavior
Maintain a safe and clean environment
Assist with arrival dismissal and transitions
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with children or special needs (preferred)
