Job Summary
GIS SPECIALIST - SENIOR
Work Location: Sacramento CA; ONSITE
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform sys analysis concept development design implementation and documentation in the GIS specialty area.
- Prepare and implement user and project setup for GIS-related projects.
- Design databases automation processes processing macros and analytical procedures.
- Maintain GIS application software and GIS databases.
- Perform digitizing tasks as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Related Experience
- Bachelors degree in geography natural sciences engineering or computer sciences.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of GIS production experience using ESRI software.
- Three (3) or more years of experience using Python and/or ModelBuilder.
- Successful completion (within the past two years) of ESRI training courses may substitute for portions of experience and/or time requirements.
- Current ArcGIS Desktop or Pro; Building Geodatabases or like coursework; Cartographic Production; ESRI 3D Creation/Analysis or Visualization coursework; Enterprise Geodata Management or like coursework; Modernizing your Field Workflows Using Fields for ArcGIS.
