The Role

To drive new business growth by proactively identifying engaging and converting prospective customers through highimpact field activity. This role is a proactive new business generator responsible for securing new commercial contracts. Through direct engagement prospecting and relentless local visibility the Business Development Manager expands the companys customer base and supports delivery of commercial revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through proactive fieldbased prospecting and local engagement.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed new business sales targets.
  • Manage a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and CRM discipline.
  • Deliver persuasive sales pitches and proposals that clearly demonstrate value.
  • Identify new opportunities through market insight and collaborate internally to ensure smooth onboarding.

What Were Looking For

  • Strong proactive prospecting capability with confidence in facetoface engagement and cold outreach.
  • Excellent communication influencing negotiation and closing skills.
  • Effective territory planning time management and pipeline management using CRM systems.
  • Solid understanding of B2B sales processes pricing commercial terms and competitive positioning.
  • Proven success in a fieldbased new business sales role consistently achieving targets through selfgenerated leads.
  • Experience selling contractbased or serviceled solutions in high facetoface sales environments
