Job Summary

Role Overview

Responsible for managing optimizing and supporting relational and NoSQL databases handling complex issues performance tuning and ensuring high availability.

Key Responsibilities

Install configure and maintain databases (Oracle MS SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB Cassandra)
Monitor and optimize database performance queries and indexing
Manage backup recovery and disaster recovery processes
Implement high availability solutions (replication clustering failover)
Handle L2 incidents perform root cause analysis and resolve complex issues
Manage database security (users roles access control)
Automate routine tasks using scripting (Shell/Python/PowerShell)
Support and guide L1 team members

Required Skills

Strong experience in RDBMS & NoSQL databases
Advanced SQL and performance tuning knowledge
Experience with HA/DR replication and monitoring tools
Basic scripting and Linux/Windows administration

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork

Ability to work in 24/7 support environments
