Job Summary
Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Cath Lab
Location: Fullerton California
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 4x10 Hours (6:30 AM 5:00 PM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a hospital-based travel assignment. This role involves providing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures in a high-volume fast-paced Cath Lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures
- Provide patient care in the Cath Lab ensuring safety and comfort
- Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams during procedures
- Monitor patient status and vital signs during cardiac interventions
- Maintain sterile environment and follow infection control protocols
- Document procedures and patient information accurately
Schedule & Work Details:
- 4x10-hour day shifts (6:30 AM 5:00 PM)
- On-call required: 2 nights per week (post-shift) 1 weekend per 2 weeks
- Weekends may exceed every other weekend depending on unit needs
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
- Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Requirements:
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent Cath Lab experience
- Epic experience required
- ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- Must be available for on-call duties as described
- No first-time travelers accepted
- RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at the time of submission
- Pending licenses not accepted
