Job Summary
This position is primarily for educational or religious purposes and should be used for providing valuable educational experiences for the Intern. It is to give the Intern an opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in their educational institutions are applied in actual work setting. Under general supervision the Intern performs work as assigned by the department.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data from electronic water meters across 3000 participants in the Waterwise program
- Identify patterns inefficiencies and potential water usage issues
- Review and interpret landscape survey data to detect irrigation or water management concerns
- Collaborate with the data and analytics team on energy modeling initiatives
- Support data cleaning validation and organization efforts
- Develop reports dashboards or summaries to communicate insights
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Assist in identifying opportunities for water and energy efficiency improvements
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Construction or Facility Management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Excel data analysis tools or basic programming (Python R or similar)
Ability to interpret data and identify trends or anomalies
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Interest in sustainability water conservation or energy management (preferred)
Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
