SUMMARY

CRT is looking to expand our workforce and welcome anyone interested in low voltage cabling AV and security fields to apply! You will gain valuable experience necessary if you want a career as a Low Voltage Technician.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install low voltage copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Terminate test copper and fiber cabling systems using certified test equipment.
• Use a variety of tools or equipment such as power construction equipment measuring devices power tools and testing equipment.
• Repair and install network enabled systems such as CCTV Access Control AV Control Systems Central Sound Video Management Servers Projectors Screens Interactive Displays etc.
• Assists in keeping building common and technology spaces in a neat orderly and safe condition.
• Accomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications national and local codes and industry standards such as TIA and BICSI.
• Attend Toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention ethics etc.
• Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification.
• Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Drivers License.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to commute to field locations and various job sites. The employee must have the ability to navigate around job site locations.
