Job Description Summary
The Student Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist I- Workforce Program provides Registered Radiologic Technologists with a structured 12-week training pathway to gain Computed Tomography knowledge and clinical competency. The program includes didactic instruction clinical education and hands-on experience delivered through innovative educational platforms.The Student CT Technologist I- Workforce Program reports to the CT Workforce Development Specialist. Under direct supervision the Student CT Technologist I is required to complete all educational and clinical requirements outlined in the program syllabus within the designated 12-week timeframe.
Successful completion of the program results in eligibility and expectation to transition into an available full-time CT Technologist position within the Imaging ICEE contingent upon meeting certification and competency requirements

Job Description
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
Upon successful completion of the 12 week training program the trainee is required to accept an available full-time CT Technologist position and commit to two (2) years of full-time employment in a CT FTE role.
Voluntary separation prior to completion of the two-year commitment will require reimbursement of didactic education certification-related expenses and any applicable sign-on bonus as outlined in a separate Training Agreement.
Additional Job Description
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Work Experience: 0-2 years of modality specific experience. Registration/Certifications: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). ARRT CT Registration required within 1 year in position. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
