What you will do:
You will be trusted to take ownership of client environments not just reactively support them.
- Provide Level 2 remote and onsite support for client technical issues ensuring environments align with best practices
- Handle escalations from junior IT professionals and act as a subject matter expert (e.g. Mac support Microsoft environments)
- Conduct recurring client visits focusing on site improvement plans and break-fix requests
- Collaborate on projects follow timelines and contribute to process improvements and SOP development
- Maintain accurate documentation and tooling (IT Glue Autotask Nable) in real time
- Record (real-time) time entries travel hours and submit reports timeously
- Upskill and support new team members offering opportunities to shadow and learn
- Participate in team meetings and drive a mindset of delivering WOW-factor service
Requirements
- 5 years IT support experience in a managed services environment
- IT qualification and Microsoft certifications
- Strong technical skills: Microsoft 365 Azure Active Directory Exchange networking (LAN wireless firewalls DHCP DNS TCP/IP) Mac and Windows OS
- Proven ability to meet (and beat) SLA targets
- Clear and confident English communication skills with the ability to explain complex tech in simple terms
- Drivers license and own car; with the flexibility to travel
- A growth mindset curious ambitious accountable and always looking to improve
