About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and procurement activities for data center fit-out projects across the APAC region. This role will be pivotal in ensuring cost efficiency supplier reliability and timely delivery of critical materials and services to support large-scale infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for data center fit-out scope including MEP systems racks cabling power distribution cooling and finishing works.
- Manage vendor selection negotiation and contract execution to achieve optimal commercial and technical outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships across APAC ensuring compliance with company standards and regional regulations.
- Collaborate with implementation managers sales engineering and finance teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor market trends supply chain risks and emerging technologies to inform procurement decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes including cost benchmarking supplier performance management and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance ethical sourcing and health & safety requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering Business or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of procurement experience with at least 3 years in data center construction or large-scale fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of APAC supplier markets and regional procurement regulations.
- Proven track record in contract negotiation vendor management and cost optimization.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data center infrastructure procurement (power cooling cabling racks).
- Familiarity with sustainability and green building standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools.
- Multilingual capabilities (English required; Mandarin Japanese or other APAC languages a plus).
