Job Description
Engineering People are currently in need of an A Grade electrician with an industrial maintenance background an ability to work autonomously troubleshoot industrial electrical problems and possesses a flexible attitude.
This role is predominantly a maintenance role that will see the successful candidate working on many different and interesting machines on one site in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne performing breakdown servicing on conveyors motors control systems Allen Bradley and Siemens S7 PLCs and trouble shooting HMI issues. Its not your normal industrial electrician role
The ideal candidate will possess an A Grade license have excellent communication skills be solutions focused reliable and realistic attitude and can work well under pressure. This role will involve some real hands on fitting work. Exposure to PLCs pneumatics proximity and instrumentation of all kinds automation on a complex scale.
The role also has projects from time to time where lateral thinking and a smart mind will enjoy the challenges.
Position starts off day shift. Then goes to rotating shift after 3 months.
