SUMMARY: To support the Career and Technical Education ( CTE) program and gather data to review the results of the program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the implementation of student information systems.
- Conduct follow-up placement survey on all graduates that completed a CTE program.
- Translate detailed program specifications into appropriate computer language code.
- Coordinate installation and maintenance of programming projects with appropriate user and staff personnel.
- Report status and progress of assigned tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Work on multiple platforms in multiple programming languages with understanding of network operation.
- Work with multiple departments and schools within the district.
- Provide documentation and training to users and staff as directed.
- Visit CTE programs at each High School campus to conduct tracking of all CTE inventory and maintain the Dysart Unified School District CTE Inventory database.
- Establish and maintain good rapport with students employees community members and vendors.
- Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- BA/BS degree in computer services or related field or certificate of completion of technical training in programming preferred.
- Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in working with and supporting student information systems in an Arizona school district setting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of job acquired knowledge.
- Familiar with business processes involved with Infinite Campus - SIS and information systems and general information technology procedures.
- Knowledge of student information systems Infinite Campus - SIS
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Knowledge of Infinite Campus - SIS and Vocational Education preferred.
Computer Skills:
- Demonstrated competency in computer literacy Excel and Word
Communication Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret general documents such as employee handbooks and safety/training manuals.
- Ability to write general correspondence and speak effectively with others.
Math Ability:
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to interpret assortment of instructions furnished in variable forms.
- Ability to apply reason to research and solve moderately complex issues with little or no assistance.
Other Requirements:
- The employee may be required to conduct surveys in the evening. The ability to flex the work schedule is required.
