Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality oral care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will deliver preventive dental treatments educate patients on oral health and support overall dental practice operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dental cleanings including removal of plaque calculus and stains above and below the gum line
• Provide oral hygiene treatments and patient education in accordance with state regulations
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants
• Operate Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) equipment as needed
• Record and review patient medical and dental histories
• Provide nutritional counseling and preventive care guidance
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with dental team members to ensure efficient patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Active Dental Hygienist License (state-issued)
• CPR Certification required
• X-ray certification or training required
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Experience with GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) equipment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
