We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality oral care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will deliver preventive dental treatments educate patients on oral health and support overall dental practice operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings including removal of plaque calculus and stains above and below the gum line
Provide oral hygiene treatments and patient education in accordance with state regulations
Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants
Operate Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) equipment as needed
Record and review patient medical and dental histories
Provide nutritional counseling and preventive care guidance
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Collaborate with dental team members to ensure efficient patient care
Required Qualifications:
Active Dental Hygienist License (state-issued)
CPR Certification required
X-ray certification or training required
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Dental Hygienist
Experience with GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) equipment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
Key Competencies:
Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and clinical accuracy
Ability to work independently in a per-diem setting
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
