As a Senior Analyst reportingintothe Senior Director Services Process and Programs (GSSO) you willplay a critical role in shaping the best practicesSalesand ServiceAssociatesat Gartneruseto maximize productivity.Youwill use strong analyticalandproblem-solvingskillstopeel back the layers to a business problemdiagnosebarriersand build solutions within GSSO and across the broader organization. This role willsupportdefining analyzing and understanding the key drivers of Salesand ServicesProductivityin collaborationwith leaders across the business to develop the right strategies to improve performance. This is a high visibility high exposure and high impact role - collaborating across GSSO Sales Product GS&D BTI and Conferences to develop your skillset and knowledge to bring high quality impact to Gartner. Current and past Programs led by this team includeseveralCorporatelevel Priorities and GSSO Top Priorities.
Whatyouwilldo:
Support the development and implementation of sales and services strategy to meet business needs and maximize frontline associate productivity:
Lead investigative exploratory analytics to understandprospect/clientengagementbehaviorsand/or frontline associatevalue deliverybehaviorswith theuberobjective of improving NB growth andretention performance.
Use analytical problem solving todeterminewhere to dive deeper into the details using quantitativeandqualitative data to isolate the root causes ofperformancebarriersandidentifybright-spotbehaviours/high-ROI solutions.
Diagnose the barriers that limit effective execution of highimpact seller and/or service associate activities by synthesizing voice-of-clients frontline feedback and performance metrics.
Leverage strong interviewand qualitative problem-solvingskills to gainleadershipandfrontlineassociateinsights/feedback tocomplement quantitative findings / solutions withqualitativecontext.
Support diagnosis of implications and ensuingclient-readiness activitiesfor Sales and Services around big-splash transformative changes.
Develop a passion for theclientperspective and bring it to yourworkas a north star.Also understand the perspective of thefrontlineassociates.Understandthe world from their point of view develop a passion for making them successful at everything they do.
What you will need:
Graduation in EngineeringMathor Statistics with25years in business analytics;prior Strategy and Operations is an added benefit but not a must-have requirement.
Experience with advanced data manipulation and summarization skills using Pythonand supporting AI tools /capabilitiesesp. the ability to verify debug and optimize AI-generated code.
PowerBIexperience working with data sets for advanced analysis and on-tap visualization.
StrongSQLanddata bricksknowledge to fetch relevant data from warehouseandoptimizelocalextracts for querying efficiency.
Above-averageknow-howofstatistical(e.g.regression multi-collinearity addressal)and machine learning(e.g.decision tree)techniques to extract actionable insights fromengagement andretention data.
Table-stakeskills:Learning agility champion mindsetstrong written and verbal communicationquantitative and qualitativeproblem-solvingandabilityto work through ambiguityand Excel PPTproficiency.
