A DAY IN THELIFE OF A SENIOR EVENT SALES COORDINATOR AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPAMGALLERY
What youllbe doing...
As a Senior EventSales Coordinator you are a storyteller and a planner. You will take the leadon complex group enquiries and high-profile events ensuring everywow moment is captured from the initial enquiry to the finalcontract. You will be the bridge between our sales division clients and theoperations team turning visions into reality with 5-star precision. You willmentor and support Junior Coordinators while managing a portfolio of corporate & socialbookings.
WHAT WE NEEDFROM YOU
PositiveAmbassadorship: A positive can-do attitude and welcoming demeanour. You willspeak with all guests agents and 3rd parties in a polite cheerfulhospitable and efficient manner adhering to 5-star Accor & MGallerybrand standards.
Sales Drive:Actively work towards the maximisation of hotel sales and profitability throughfull familiarisation with all room types event capacities facilities andpromotions.
Showcasingthe Property: The ability to confidently present and showcase the hotel topotential clients during meetings and show rounds.
Precision& Detail: Strong attention to detail demonstrating consistency indelivering accurate information. High degrees of accuracy in verbal and writtencommunication are pivotal to the success of each booking and vital in drawingup contracts and function sheets that mirror guest requirements.
AnalyticalSkills: Maintaining statistics and analysis reports client details notesprofiles and company records to help the office stay organized and strategic.
FinancialAccountability: Adhering to advance purchase and deposit payment requirementsensuring daily banking balances and that all payments are posted correctlyacross all systems.
CommunicationLeadership & Teamwork: Excellent teamwork skills establishing strongrelationships and support over all mediums including telephone email bookingsystems and in-person meetings.
Experience:2 years of current Event and Group Reservations experience in a fast-paced andhigh-volume hotel reservations department ideally Accor branded.
