About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support and deliver CMCs internal and external marketing initiatives.

Working closely with the Executive Manager Strategic Markets and Partnerships this role will play a key part in shaping CMCs brand presence supporting business development activities and promoting our people projects and culture across multiple platforms.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys both strategic input and day-to-day execution and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the development and delivery of marketing and communications strategies aligned with business growth objectives;
• Creating editing and coordinating content across platforms including LinkedIn the CMC website and internal communication channels;
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders (e.g. Precontracts Operations People & Culture) to gather content and develop engaging stories;
• Managing and scheduling social media and digital content including monitoring performance and engagement analytics;
• Assisting with the preparation of capability statements project announcements submissions content and promotional materials;
• Coordinating marketing and branding requirements for events project launches and industry functions;
• Supporting internal communications and employee engagement initiatives;
• Maintaining content libraries image databases and marketing assets;
• Liaising with external suppliers such as designers photographers and web developers as required;
• Managing content calendars and approval workflows to ensure timely and consistent delivery.

About you

As the successful candidate you will bring:

• Experience in a marketing communications or similar role;
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone across different audiences;
• High attention to detail and a strong eye for branding and consistency;
• Experience managing social media platforms and digital content;
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
• Experience with design tools (e.g. InDesign Canva) or content creation tools will be highly regarded;
• Experience within construction infrastructure or a similar industry will be highly regarded but not essential.
