MW Partners is currently seeking a Manager Retail Development to work for our client who is a leader in the media and entertainment industry.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Manage relationships with retail partner (Target) and licensees to drive sell-in and sell-through of licensed products across key hardlines categories including Sporting Goods Bullseyes Playground Food & Beverage and Essentials & Beauty.
- Execute retail strategies across category responsibilities
- Monitor retail performance and identify opportunities to increase sales and distribution
- Partner with licensing category teams to support product launches and retail activations in partnership with licensees
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all licensed products and retail placements
- Conduct store visits and retail audits to ensure merchandising standards are met and identify new opportunities
- Analyze sales data market trends and competitive activity
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing category franchise) to support campaigns
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- 4 years of experience in retail licensing consumer products or business development
- Working knowledge of entertainment categories and/or retail industry a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills attention to detail and follow-up
- Experience working with licensed brands or retail partnerships preferred
- Strong understanding of retail environments and merchandising strategies
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with experience using sales data to drive decisions
