We are seeking an experienced Senior SCCM Engineer to lead enterprise endpoint management software deployment patch management and systems administration initiatives across a large-scale IT environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) / MECM Windows infrastructure automation and endpoint security.
This role requires a senior-level professional who can architect implement and optimize endpoint management solutions while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with infrastructure security and desktop support teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead administration and optimization of SCCM / MECM infrastructure across enterprise environments
Design and manage OS deployments imaging task sequences and device provisioning
Manage monthly patching cycles security updates and compliance reporting
Deploy software packages applications and enterprise updates globally
Integrate SCCM with Intune / Co-Management / Autopilot solutions
Troubleshoot client health distribution points boundaries and performance issues
Create automation scripts using PowerShell for deployment and reporting tasks
Manage endpoint security policies BitLocker Defender integrations and compliance standards
Work closely with cybersecurity teams for vulnerability remediation
Maintain documentation architecture diagrams SOPs and operational processes
Provide mentorship to junior administrators and technical guidance to support teams
Participate in upgrade migration and cloud transformation initiatives
Required Skills
7 years of experience in SCCM / MECM Administration
Strong experience with Windows Server Active Directory Group Policy
Expertise in OSD Task Sequences Imaging PXE Boot
Experience in Patch Management / WSUS / Compliance Reporting
Strong PowerShell scripting skills
Experience with Microsoft Intune / Co-management
Knowledge of endpoint security tools and enterprise best practices
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID
Intune MDM / Autopilot experience
VMware / Citrix environment exposure
ITIL process knowledge
Microsoft certifications preferred
Education
