Job Summary:

Collaborate with members of the womens cardiovascular health research team. Provide under direct supervision support for specified research projects; collect assess and communicate data/results. Assist with patient recruitment research project operation and inventory.

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is committed to understanding preventing and treating cardiovascular disease through: groundbreaking research providing exceptional patient care and training the next generation of leaders in cardiovascular Womens Cardiovascular Health Research team is conducting innovative clinical and translational research with a focus on pregnancy hypertension and cardiovascular conditions unique to women.

• Recruiting and consenting patients

• Research experience

• Biospecimen processing experience

• Database management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under supervision run experiments assays and record results

• Screen and recruit subjects for clinical research projects

• Collect clinical data and record in RedCap database

• Collaborate with VUMC OB/GYN and external research teams

• Read and follow biospecimen protocols

• Compile and communicate results to supervisor

• Follow University safety protocols

• Maintain inventories
