Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cherry Picker Forklift Driver to join our team. This role involves handling materials in a warehouse environment including loading/unloading trucks staging inventory and supplying production lines. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious team-oriented and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Mon - Fri
8am to 4:30pm
$17/h starting pay
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Cherry Picker forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload products on shelfs; verify and record quantities.
- Stage materials by date or lot code; supply production lines.
- Stretch wrap pallets and verify pallet tags and configurations.
- Maintain and charge electric forklifts at end of shift.
- Follow supervisor instructions and company regulations.
- Use hand trucks hoists conveyors and other equipment.
- Work under direct supervision and report to a manager.
Qualifications
General:
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Must be 18 and authorized to work in the U.S.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of forklift experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Working Conditions
- Non-climate-controlled warehouse.
- Frequent walking forklift operation and occasional lifting.
