Job Description:
Purpose of the Role
As Client Partner for Asia youll provide leadership support to the China team as your primary responsibility acting as a bridge between the local team the international dX team and the international client. Your role will ensure that the work done by the team is up to the expected standards and client perception continuously improves. This includes the implementing the strategic vision for the client delivering against financial targets and building a trusted strategic partnership with the client.
The secondary purpose will be to support the team managing SEA and Australia across all LOBs. Providing mentoring guidance and client direction on client management personal growth and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Understanding the clients business model performance and measures of success; knowing their products inside out and applying this knowledge to deliver innovative ambitious plans that deepen the relationship to ensure retention and growth.
Immersing yourself and the team in the clients business: understanding their challenges objectives external economic environment markets competitive threats and relevant agency partners.
This role sits within the Global Digital Marketing team working across one of the top global accounts. You will be responsible for all outputs across a specific regional team (strategy planning and delivery). The team is highly datadriven fastmoving and adaptable.
Deliver innovative ambitious strategic and commercial solutions that balance client and agency values working closely with colleagues and clients. Ensuring each response builds and improves on the previous and has a unique approach to it.
Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor to senior client and industry stakeholders.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of all relevant markets (CN SEA AU) providing insights that drive business growth and showcasing the additional value that Dentsu brings.
Manage the teams in SG and CN to ensure they build strong relationships with their counterparts and deliver outstanding client service. Be prepared to step in and provide handson support when timelines are tight.
Collaboration with the wider Global account and channel activations teams to build relationships that help to improve outcome innovation efficiency and continuous learning loop.
Use account plans to stimulate and track future work; manage resources effectively; and set up career progression plans for team members.
Optimise ways of working for the entire global account and ensure multi stakeholder buy in before rolling them out.
Proactively identify growth opportunities across regions and develop proposals that support multimarket scaling.
Ensure consistent implementation of global strategies while adapting to local market nuances.
Act as escalation point for complex issues ensuring timely resolution and driving continual improvement.
Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and high performance across markets. Bringing the local teams closer together to the key hubs.
Qualifications Skills
Extensive experience in media planning account management or related roles within a media agency.
Experience managing multimarket teams ideally across APAC.
Proven track record of leading successful client relationships and delivering exceptional results in the region.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to forecast plan and manage revenue streams effectively.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with agility and strategic clarity.
Familiarity with datadriven marketing approaches and performanceled decisionmaking.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide your team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Innovative thinker with a deep understanding of market trends and the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business growth.
