DEPUTY TECHNICAL MANAGER
This role will be reporting directly to the Head of Technical Department.
Overview of the Position
The Deputy Technical Manager will support the Head of Technical Department in coordinating and overseeing technical operations across the farm and processing facilities.
The role involves supporting the management and coordination of tractors agricultural machinery irrigation pivots processing lines herbal dryers buildings and supporting infrastructure.
A key focus of the role will be coordinating and following up on a wide range of small to medium-sized technical projects ensuring that technical tasks are properly organized and implemented.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop into a senior technical leadership role over time working closely with the Technical Manager and gaining increasing responsibility as experience grows.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Coordinate and follow up on small to medium-sized technical projects across the farm and processing facilities
Support the organization of maintenance and repair activities for farm machinery irrigation systems processing lines and infrastructure
Assist in coordinating maintenance tasks for technical staff and contractors
Monitor equipment performance and support reliable operation of technical assets
Maintain maintenance records and technical documentation using computer systems
Support the Technical Manager in planning preventative maintenance programs
Oversee the Calibration matrix and perform and document due calibrations
Support the Technical Manager in coordinating technical activities across the organisation
Desired Qualifications & Experience
Degree or diploma in Agricultural Engineering Mechanical Engineering Technical Operations or a related technical field
3 - 6 years of practical experience in technical operations maintenance coordination agricultural machinery or similar environments
Initial experience in coordinating technical tasks or small projects is beneficial
Experience working with technical documentation maintenance planning or operational tracking systems is an advantage
Strong computer skills (MS Office Excel and digital systems)

Required Skills:
