Prevention Specialist ProgressiveHealth of Indiana LLC Evansville IN
We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Prevention Specialist to provide injury prevention services onsite for a large manufacturing facility in Evansville IN. We strive to increase the industrial athletes ability to perform their job duties safely and decrease the risk of injury through early intervention in a dynamic work environment. This position will support employees through ergonomic training education and hands-on injury prevention strategies while partnering closely with site leadership.

- Schedule:
- Monday Thursday: 8:30 AM 4:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
What will you be doing in this role
- Providing proactive injury prevention early intervention (EI) and medical triage support as defined by OSHA standards.
- Conducting ergonomic assessments and consultations in both production and office environments.
- Delivering stretching programs job-specific coaching and wellness education to employees.
- Supporting and participating in Medical Response Team (MRT) activities.
- Performing routine audits (AED first aid supplies burn kits etc.) to ensure compliance and readiness.
- Managing and maintaining on-site wellness initiatives including fitness center operations and programming.
- Leading and organizing group fitness or wellness classes.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and providing feedback to employees and leadership.
- Partnering with site leadership to identify trends and opportunities for injury prevention and continuous improvement.

Our ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelors degree in Athletic Training Kinesiology Exercise Science or a related field.
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it before start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- Basic knowledge of workers compensation and OSHA regulations preferred
- The ability to stand walk and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
- Ergonomic and/or occupational health experience
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel
