Job Description

We are partnering with a leading national organization in the healthcare sector dedicated to improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency through continuous technological innovation. Operating at an enterprise scale they are undergoing a massive digital transformation modernizing legacy systems to build a highly resilient scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.

Performance Objectives for Year One:

Define the Cloud Strategic Framework: Within the first 6 months develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise cloud strategy and adoption roadmap (leveraging Microsoft CAF and WAF) to standardize cloud deployments across all business units.
Lead Enterprise Azure Migrations: Architect and oversee the execution of legacy system migrations to Azure-native architectures (utilizing serverless containers and PaaS services) ensuring seamless integration and zero critical business downtime.
Establish a Zero-Trust Network & Security Baseline: Design and deploy a secure high-availability hybrid Azure networking foundation (including VNet ExpressRoute and advanced access controls via Entra ID/Azure AD and RBAC) to meet strict regulatory and compliance requirements.
Drive Cloud Cost Optimization (FinOps): Implement a robust cloud cost-management strategy that demonstrably optimizes the current Azure spend through workload right-sizing Reserved Instances and auto-scaling within the first 12 months.
Enable Technical Innovation: Partner cross-functionally with software engineering and DevOps teams to validate cloud design feasibility by building rapid prototypes and proofs-of-concept for emerging cloud-native solutions.
